They still do paper so you have to pay at a Delta desk.
The best way to do it is to make the listing in the ID-90 site, in about 2-24 hours later you'll get a listing res # like normal in an email from delta. Take that to any agent and swipe a credit card and in an instant you'll get your paper tickets.

I have done Alaska tickets from the counter in SEA with a delta agent before, but most locales they are not trained to do zed's from scratch anymore, hence the id90 listing/ delta res step.

I agree with that also. I will say however that most reroutes seem to work in my favor overall. You get a bad one now and then but I have received many good deals on a reroute.

I would have agreed a few years ago. Last couple years of reroutes were 100% bad deals.

Just complete entire process including purchase on my IDtravel link. Immediately emailed conf number and ticket numbers.
We'll see. LAS to SEA.

My reroutes generally suck.

Has anyone noticed a gradual decline in the overall quality of domestic layover hotels? I mean, it's nothing like that crap Holiday Inn we used to have in HSV, or that Clarion in RSW...but we're losing lots of Westins in favor of Holiday Inns. And don't get me started on the places in SAN, long and short.

Is this the company's pre-contract beatdown or a steady slide to airport Ramadas and Holidomes for all layovers like Northwest seemed to favor?

And what's the point of paying for a hotel committee if the company uses non-approved hotels??

I was looking at the bid packet. I forget where it was, but we are staying at a La Quinta. A new low.

It sounds bad but:

La Quinta / Best Western / Holiday Inn Express >>>> Holiday Inns, regular Marriots and Crowne Plazas.

Could someone explain the history of the SAN hotel issue? I stay there a lot and find it nice. But I don't have anything to compare it too. Was the "old" hotel better?

12 yrs ago at a commuter we stayed at a real dump by the airport.

This has changed, you can now do it entirely online and instantly through travelnet.
