What can a first year guy plan to credit on average? I know it varies across fleets, but ball park? Can reserves Green slip? Thanks. Omar |

Do you really think they will punish themselves by creating extra training and under staffing the 777 and 330?
What can I say, I'm married to an Italian woman. I know how this can play out. :) |

Well, I didn't at first. But then Mr. Anderson said they where going to cancel the E190/73-900 order [because we didn't vote in the TA]. The 40 737-9's were replacement aircraft anyway. BFD. I agree that it wouldn't make sense to induce the cascade out of spite, but then again, they could post an ugly TA to knock us back on our heels, and then make a few small, positive (for us) adjustments over the next few months to lessen the training impact for them but still have us in a psychological state of uncertainty.

Ha! I hear that. Seriously though, they have their hands full dealing with last minute marketing changes, and don't have the 'luxury' of punitive staffing. It will be really interesting to see if they can keep the operation going on all cylinders as training picks up and the regionals dump more flying to mainline that they can't staff. Hopefully they don't end up leaving money out there or worse, have to cancel flights due to a lack of pilots available to fly the schedule. Both have happened before.
GSWC is my friend. |

On another note, can spouses park in the non-rev parking lot, or do they have to have a emp ID? Well idk the policy, but I say no because nobody can park there. Not enough spots. Park n spot is the way to go... with delta id. |
Well I got all excited to maybe get a GSWC for the first time....two Intl trips in NY7ERB today that I was thinking may go that deep....
Funny, they been sitting there for a few hours with no action on em, no GS attempts at coverage in the trip coverage box..nothing but those two trips sitting there. Then it dawned on me...they are going to two man them over to Europe, thats why they aren't even attempting to go deeper than a G/S. and certainly nothing with conflict. Long night to Brussels and London boys.... That Blows. |

Correction...they are going assignment with conflict on the BRU...course I dont have the seniority to touch it!

Contractually for an ocean crossing we are limited to (unaugmented.. 2 man) to 8 hours, Far 117 depends on report time so that may be up to 9 hours with 117 but the contract restricts that to 8.
On the way back they would have to add a 3rd guy from somewhere..Deadhead in or steal one and give them a shorter layover...or something.. And it looks like they just gave the LHR one out to a GSWC as well....there was only another 50 guys over me! Well back to my lawn mower... |
