An APD request will be granted if, at the time of processing, the: number of reserves available in the category is at least 25% of the number of reserves required (as determined by the reserves required formula under Section 23 W., and as shown in DBMS), Note: For purposes of a rotation that is scheduled to begin in one bid period and end in another, prior to the close of line bidding for the second bid period, a day(s) within such second bid period will be deemed to have sufficient reserve availability, provided that such day(s) does not fall within an APD holiday period as described in Section 23 I. 8. a. Exception. Exception: An APD request may be denied regardless of the number of reserves available during the period commencing two days before and ending one day after the following: 1) New Year's Day 2) Super Bowl Sunday 3) Good Friday 4) Easter 5) Memorial Day 6) Independence Day 7) Labor Day 8) Thanksgiving Day 9) Christmas Day

Thanks for the response. Referencing the bolded, are you saying they will wait until Apr 11th before they run it or they have the option of waiting that long? Either way, you're saying there is no way they will run it 3/20, correct?

Sitting on a 4 hour delay (so far) into JFK - 31R closed for the next 6 weeks - looks like NYC IROPS are going to be the norm until 24 Apr!

Correct, but you might be able to drop a trip earlier on the swap board if someone wants it.

Mozilla prompts an "open with" box, but I don't know what I need.

Thanks

Works on a iMac - assuming you have windows for Mac. Didn't have much luck with my iPad. Try to save it to your computer first, before opening. That's the only way I could open them on the Surface.

No, it will be run on 20 Mar. Anything prior to the bid closing is assumed to have good coverage.

Thanks, man. Fingers crossed it goes well... Otherwise some good tickets are going to waste.

PowerPoint.

If you don't have Office it is available for $9.95 though Delta Perks.

Sorry to bother....I found it on Perks sent in my company email...now it says to check my company email....

On the Flt Ops page I clicked on Web email...it opened MS Outlook and it wants a user name and password....

Is there anywhere that might help me find/recover my user name or password because I have absolutely no idea what they might be?

Eck,

I think your APD will work. The APD will work down to 25% of reserves required available. For example, even if 12 reserves are required and only 4 are available it would work taking reserves down to 3/12 = 25%. :D

So unless you are in a category like NYC 73N B that routinely has around 15 required and zero available you are in luck.

Finally your APD will run before any other drops so the coverage will most likely be good because it will pretty much be based on the initial PBS run which is programmed to ensure adequate reserves. :)

Good Luck - Scoop

No it doesn't require consolidation. Reserve tends to go senior on the 767-400. It's not all that uncommon to see the plug getting a line because PBS will not allow any more reserve lines. Enjoy it!
