Yeah, but then GP would turn it into a SLI thread, followed by the brain trust from PHL calling him names…..

Love it! All in good fun. Bunch of boys in the sandbox, slinging poo at each other. But at the end of the day we are one, regardless!

Cheers,

Called skeds, they said it's ok, called DALPA sked (spoke with F., used to be a Delta sked) she said it's ok. Called my Capt rep., he said contractually it's ok but Delta "agreed" not to make this kind of trip. Asked me to forward the info on the trip... we'll see.

So apparently CDO's are legal... need to re-read my contract.
How much is the trip worth? Because if it's 10:30, then that's not a bad deal for being away for 12 hours.

Funny, just tried to gather the data from the trip and see that I can't access the original archived trip in i-crew... only showing the actual trip, which now show's rest of 7.53hrs... still a CDO no matter how you slice it.

DING DING DING!

This type of rotation has always been buildable, hasn't it? If they want to pay them at 10:30 vs the 7:30 that was going to be in the previous LOA, build away. A guy can get quite a bit of rest on his own time if he only works 7 days and 14 legs for a full schedule.

And the second leg is a deadhead. 10:30 for one leg to DAB and a deadhead home. Still don't like it, looks too much like a camel's nose under the tent.

Make sure your insurance is paid up. Scoping the dollies in Panama or Columbia, you will surely step in front of a bus.

I suppose so. I think the only reason this trip is legal per FAR 117 is because it's a dead-head on the leg home so it doesn't count as part of your 12 hour duty day. Otherwise he needs 30ish hours off for rest after going over 12 (I think).
