Thanks

Get screen shots of the Nonrev list and cleared list. Double check to make sure that they are on S3 and not S2, or some
Other factor that would cause that
Did you check in with less than :30 prior? I've been hosed by that before and it was actually legit(much to my chagrin).

.... Send to the pass travel people. That kind of B-ess is unsat.

If it was skywest, you end up S3B and go behind any skw employee

Buying current-year vacation

As a new hire, I have an odd number of days (11, in my case) that doesn't really fit the mold of dealing in vacation "weeks." I would like to buy three (3) days, to make it an even 14 (i.e., a "full" two weeks). When I put in the request, iCrew tells me "try again next month." The issue appears to be, though, that the week I'm trying to buy into isn't available... because I'm already holding it!

Since I already "own" that week, shouldn't I be able to add up to the number of days in that week which I don't already have (again, in my case, three)? I certainly had to have a full two weeks available in which to bid the vacation in the first place!

Thanks for any pointers....

The easy way is to call the vacation office tomorrow. You can find the gouge sheet on:

Deltanet->Flight Ops->Crew Resources and Scheduling->Vacation->Vacation Tip Sheet

The answer might be in there, and if not the phone number for the vacation ladies is at the end of page 2. They should be able to set you up or at least tell you why it's not going through.

In general, the Company must agree in order for you to buy additional vacation days for the current vacation year. Apparently, the days on which you are trying to buy vacation are not available. Other than calling Crew Resources and offering chocolate, I'm afraid there's not much else you can do.

Sweet. Someone on my category got a 27.50 hour 2 day. :D

It lists a orf to lga leg with 23 hours block. I guess we ate driving the 717 via the interstate system.

No, both of us are DAL. We were boarding as she said, "I think I have one left for you, give me a minute" She was waiting on a first class pax to show up. Now I understand if I am onboard and at the last minute, the seat opened up and for timeliness sake, he was put on in first out of seniority, but I was standing right there.

I didn't realize that the seat she was waiting on was a first class seat. Whatever. Kinda BS

And they say we have a productivity problem. 27 hours in 2 days is very productive

Quick scheds question. I blocked in at 2032 tonight and am trying to pick up a ws tomorrow. A trip went out as a gs tomorrow morning with a 736 report time. Should that trip have been mine? It was my understanding that you need 10 hours between duty periods. So would I have been legal for this? I figured that I'm legal starating at 702.
