Lets hope it includes a realistic cure and measurement period.

If it did, they would have mentioned that in the e-mail.
I think we have whole new scope language. Again.
Probably another "global" solution.

Based on how the note and stock was distributed, somehow I don't think they are dividing it by the entire pilot group. More like by those pilots that were affected by it. Namely, those pilots in international categories. Think about it. By being below the minimum, there was less flying in those categories to bid. It didn't affect the NB fleets. Also, since it was from April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2015, I'll bet there is a sliding scale as to how much each transoceanic pilot was affected. I doubt a pilot not even on the seniority list during that time will get anything.

Every pilot on the pay roll in that period would have earned profit sharing on that lost revenue, no? More flying at the top would also have created more vacancies and opportunity for advancement or higher seniority at the bottom. I'm not sure it's so easy to define who was or wasn't affected.

I think it should be evenly distributed between the top 6000😀

Every pilot on the payroll did earn PS on that revenue. It wasn't lost to Delta Inc. Delta still got paid their share of the JV. What didn't get paid was the lost wages that Delta pilots would've earned if Delta metal flew those legs. While you are correct that there was lost advancement opportunity, I'm sure that the union can figure that out. Maybe.

Yeah, we'll see about the distribution. I was only here at the tail end on the mad dog and won't be too surprised or feel affronted if I don't get anything. But to be clear, every erosion of widebody scope does affect every single person on property as well as those not here yet. As an example, on the last AE NYC 330B went only 9 numbers senior to me; I very well may have held it if the company was in JV compliance, making another slot in MSP 88B available to someone junior to me, and another newhire slot available to a separating military pilot or some poor sap still slugging it out at the regionals.

It absoultely did affect pilots in NB fleets. WB block hours affect all pilots on the list.

IMO, I was the sole pilot most egregiously affected by the JV imbalance, so therefore $29,900,000 goes to me, and I retire early so some of you can move up a notch.:D

How can I leave a note for scheduling to award me a green slip that I put in for? When I was called for one last week, the lady said "since I don't see a message in here, even though you're flying, we'll wait 10 minutes and move on." How do I leave a message that I don't require approval and to just award me the green slip in case I am flying or unavailable to answer the phone?
