How do I leave a message that I don't require approval and to just award me the green slip in case I am flying or unavailable to answer the phone?

One technique I've heard is to change your voicemail message. "if this is Delta scheduling, I will accept any green slip within my posted parameters." Just make sure you change the message later!

Based on how the note and stock was distributed, somehow I don't think they are dividing it by the entire pilot group. More like by those pilots that were affected by it. Namely, those pilots in international categories. Think about it. By being below the minimum, there was less flying in those categories to bid. It didn't affect the NB fleets. Also, since it was from April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2015, I'll bet there is a sliding scale as to how much each transoceanic pilot was affected. I doubt a pilot not even on the seniority list during that time will get anything.

Maybe so.

But had you had more flying, more pilots would've moved up in categories, possibly upgraded. Scope costs money.

I flew with a guy who just called the schedulers before we got into the jet and told them, "I'll take whatever you give me while I'm flying." They were cool with it and he got the GS.

I nominate dalad as new negotiating committee chairman.

That's how you set an opening position. :D

July bid pack available via Navtech PBS Desktop App (at least my category, I don't know how or if it's possible to switch categories within the App). Discovered it accidentally when I downloaded the new version of the App.

That's the issue. With this grievance settlement, we've set the legal precedent that scope violations become a permanent reset by paying a little money. Having a voluntary Scope section hurts pilots the most depending on how many more years they have to work with no defensible Scope section. In my opinion, the payout should be based on a sliding scale with the highest payouts going to pilots with the greater number of years remaining.

Thanks.

Weird that it is available through the DA but the .pdf bid package is not available.

I think those of us who have retired recently should get some too. After all, we were flying while this violation was going on.

call them and tell them to leave it on your line and you'll accept it.
