Its inappropriate for the company to blame their poor planning on a sick out.

They purposely didn't hire till way too late to try and make the books look good. This is not our problem.

That is crazy talk...illegal job action. I have flown enough recently to realize that I need a break, I am going to layoff helping them out with thier staffing problems. I will only fly my schedule. I am tired, and dont feel the compelling need to help them when they dont feel the compelling need to give us a great contract. Just saying.

Really? No determination as to your fitness for duty?

The pilot is responsible for determining his or her own fitness for duty. And even if said pilot determines they are fit to fly...they are not required to fly over and above by picking up open time, answering the phone to accept a GS or IA. I simply dont feel compelled to help them with thier staffing issues until they help me with my contract. ( this is my opinio n, and I only speak for myself...I am not advocating any illegal action, just stating my personal position that I am not picking up any extra flying over my line.)

As quick as 24 hours but it can go to a few days if the Administrator is flying/busy.

Hit him again with another email, he may have gotten busy with work/life and forgot.

Humans do that once in a while.

How do you do that without registering again with a different username? Is there an email I am missing?
Thanks

As of 1400 today, 6 trips covered for NYC717B. 2 out of base GS and 4 GSWC (1 guy is on his 2nd GSWC and its only the 6th)! Some trips got canceled/moved to another base (I got the call for the IA, but the trips are gone now). Yet in the last class drop, ALL 14 717s went to ATL. I know ATL has issues as well, but the last AE has 10 guys/gals moving from NYC to ATL. It's a good thing there are only 3 certified sims for the 717 in the entire US!
