Even then, it had changed since the bid package, but luckily for my ignorant heinie it was an improvement.

In ICrew, just go to OPEN TIME, daily trip coverage, and click on the trip next to your name....:D

BE CAREFUL that you don't auto acknowledge if your password goes into the trip assignment box......

Spot on. Just to piggyback on what Piklepausepull said, there is now a Daily Trip Coverage quick link at the bottom of the iCrew Homepage to save you mouse clicks. Doesn't matter much in the current Greenslip frenzy environment but in the past every sec after that phone call was critical if you didn't want to miss out on a short notice GS

Regardless of the timing, they brought this on themselves. People are getting tired. That's what happens when you try to "do more with less," people get burned out and slow down the max effort push.

the slow down is a different story, they delayed hiring which has put us behind the power curve for years. This problem has been boiling up and soon its going to get real ugly.

Not sure if it is just about hiring. I have heard that DAL is trying to shift some DCI flying to mainline that DCI could not accommodate - can anyone confirm this?

Greater than 69% certain you are correct. I think I read something about this in the 717 bid package a while back. Shuttle America couldn't meet it's contractual obligations so we brought a lot of their stuff to mainline.

Spot on. Last fall they turned back a lot of flying they could not fulfill. That was before they, regional, got the new contract and I am not sure how it is going now. But we were absorbing a lot of those hours on the 717.

I should know this, but where is a good place to look up front end DH Deviation instructions?

Everyday there are less regional pilots than there were the day before due to hiring at other airlines...and to a very small extent some retirements at the regionals. Republic fling bankruptcy due to pilot shortages is just the beginning. On the mainline side you have the retirements that are coming everyday. The last AE we had was just the beginning of the training waterfall.

All of the management types with their overrated MBAs, and thought processes stuck like its 2008, don't get how much the playing field has changed until now. Anybody could see this coming.
