Gents,

I'm a new hire about to finish sim training and start OE next week.

What's the easiest way to keep track of your schedule? Do you guys log into icrew/icrew mobile everytime you need to see something? Are there 3rd party iPhone apps? Is there a way to download it to my cell phone calendar (added bonus if I can get it into iCloud so that my wife can see it too).

Thanks.

Cheers,

Google hunite app if you want your schedule to go to your calendar and on your cloud.

I'm sure this has been asked and answered in the past, but an advanced search didn't reveal the answer for me:

If you spring for Global Entry, where do you enter the number you get from them into Travelnet so it's in your record and you're able to get TSA Precheck treatment when you do company business or non-rev out of uniform?

Thanks!

A few pages into the listing-for-a-flight process, there's a line with your name, gender, birthday etc. on it. At the far right of that series of things is a box that you can type your global entry/precheck ID into. Your computer should save it so it's always in there every time you deadhead or non-rev.

Thanks, appreciate that. Now, a follow up: Anyone have any success with walking up to global entry office in ATL for the interview? I'm about to fill out the form, but am curious if they might have possible openings if I'm at the airport and have some time before a trip starts or a commute home.

As a rule....no.

That said, about two years ago I made an appt for a month out (soonest they were offering at the time) and then about a week prior to that appt, I stopped by explaining that I had an appt the next week but was here now and would have to commute just to do the interview next week.

Agent at window said no, go away, but behind her some supervisor heard my story and said take a seat. About 10 mins later they called me back and completed the 5 min process.

Can't answer for ATL, but it worked just like that at JFK. 5-10 mins max. The "interview" was more of a demo on how to use their machines.

Just did it last week in ATL F terminal. Had an appointment set up in May and they did it on the spot. Done in 10 minutes.

Worth it and if you have the Amex platinum its reimbursed back to you.

If there is anything the Gov't has done right, it is Global Entry, I just love to speed ahead of the crews.
