dudes, when do you get paid for the 2nd half of a month? is it mid month the following month or at the end of the following month.
example...when will my paycheck reflect mar 16th-30th? april 15th paycheck or april 30th paycheck? im new and turned the corner on probation mid month.
thanks

Your end-of-month pay is an advance for the coming month. Your mid-month pay is your actual pay for the entire previous month minus the advance you got toward that month at the end of the prior month.

For example, the pay you get at the end of March is an advance for April. The pay you get in the middle of April is your actual March pay minus the advance you received for March at the end of February.

Don't think thats right

March 31 paycheck is 1/2 of the( ALV -2 ) guarantee from March

April 15 is the rest of what is owed to you.

If a person converts on the 1st of the any month his/her paycheck with the new payrate will be at the end of that month

Nope, Gucciboy is right. Pay on the 31st is an advance of 1/2 of the ALV for the coming month, then pay on the 15th is the other half of the ALV from the preceding month plus all pay over the ALV for that month.

Bohica is correct. It's near the end of section 3 in the contract.

I was indeed wrong about the end-of-month payment. I thought it was an advance, but it is in arrears. Here's the reference (3.G.):

A pilot will receive his earnings for a bid period in the form of two semi-monthly payroll checks:

1. An end-of-month (EOM) partial payment on the last business day of the corresponding calendar month in the amount of one-half of the reserve guarantee at his composite hourly pay rate as of the date of the payment, and

2. A consolidation payment on the last business day prior to the 16th of the following calendar month for the difference between his total earnings for the bid period and the amount of his EOM partial payment, if applicable.
