Reserves can't do domicile layovers. Are required to get released and rest of trip has to go through open time process.

Correct. If you are reserve and they try and domicile layover you and not provide a hotel point out to them that the rotation is suppose to be broken up at that point and the remainder of the rotation should be available in open time. They used to try this all the time during IROPS, you would get stuck in base so they say ok pick it up tomorrow you are on your own. Not so fast.

I'm a RES and just did one in LGA. Part of the rotation.

NYC is different. If you started in LGA, they should have removed you. If you started in JFK or EWR then because its a co-terminal domicile, you stay on the trip. I think the same rules apply in LAX for SNA or ONT reports.

This is correct for when it comes to multiple airport domiciles.

Ok boys and girls, PWA section 5. E. d. will get you your hotel:

d.at a station (at or away from base) at which the pilot is scheduled for block-in to block-out time of more than five hours (upon the pilot’s request).

However if you are well day 3 and scheduler marks well you would be eligible for white/green slip flying.
If you are well on the next day then can't get green/white on day 3

Thanks! thats what I thought

- What's the max number of hours you can put in the bank at a time?
- Is it simply a function of having hours above the ALV for a given bid period?
- Do those hours above ALV determine your hours available to deposit?
- If that's the case, how can (or can you) bank GS pay hours?

GucciBoy 04-20-2016 02:59 PM

You can only bank credit, so no GS since they are pay, no credit. No limit to a monthly deposit so long as it doesn't take you over your 60 bank hours, but it's tough to make a huge deposit in a given month since it has to be credit in excess of 80 hours I believe.

It has nothing to do with the ALV, it's credit hours above 80. GS is pay no credit, so you cannot bank GS hours.
