I think this is more symptomatic of the current hiring environment. Back in the 80s AA was hiring 120 a month and 3/4 were sent to NYC as new hires (oddly enough many on the MD) Most bid out within 2 months.

At least DAL new hires have the option of getting out of there fairly quickly now rather than being stuck there for months or years.

Re-read my post. I explicitly noted that swaps don't get listed in Daily Coverage, and nowhere did I mention the PS code.

Seeing some trips go with the PS code that aren't in open time. How does that work?

Pro-grade pcs ninjas will set up swaps for trips they want that aren't in open time in case they ever get into open time.

It's time-consuming and the take rate is insanely low.

Oh, I do it all the time too. That doesn't change the fact that it takes forever and the take rate is low.
