Is there a benefit to calling in well on a sick trip? For example, if on day 3 of 5 of that trip, I were to call in well....could the company ask me to rejoin the trip, or assign me something else entirely? That's why I'm wondering if it's better to not deal with the hassle and call in well after the trip is over. Thanks.
I was a little bit concerned on it getting some attention, however the captain responded to my concern with "screw them, I call in sick every month, because they took my pension." So if we wonder how the company got all uppity about the sick thing, there's that... |
But when you call in well.... is it up to you to either resume your trip/pick up something else?

Realistically picking up your trip isn't going to happen. It's gone. If it was cut up into multiple trips and part is floating in OT, you could slip it. But that is it far as I know |
Hey! I just met the great Satchip! I'm awesome now! Great meeting you, bro! :D

NewK, you are a night owl! I got to HSV and went straight to bed, with a beautiful woman although. NewKnow is a great guy and a pleasure to talk with. Would love to sit over a few beverages and solve the world's problems, or at least debate them!

Last night NBC News ran a story about our new baggage tag roll out. I cannot remember the name of the VP that is the head of this division, but I heard him speak once and he talked about this project. We are spending around $50 million on this, and it will reduce lost baggage to nearly zero. He seems to me to be cut from the same cloth as Mr Anderson. Anyway, here's the story if you are interested.

I'll make sure you are on the honored guest list when I open up my beach bar. That will put us one step closer to solving those problems. But, probably two steps further away from anyone ever listening to us -- which is fine by me. Take care and fly safe! :D |
