It places you higher on the standby list, bypassing people more senior to you, assuming they only use S3.

Very small sample size, but when I traveled internationally my S2s did nothing other than keep me right where my seniority put me, since everybody else dropped S2 as well.

Same experience. If you don't use S2 you're guaranteed bottom of the list.

So I traded a 2 day trip for a pair of 1 days. The first one went NOOP for equipment change and crew skeds says I'm under 23k recovery flying. But the PWA says that's for IRROPS. Is an equipment change for marketing an IRROP?

anyone know how long I should wait after a reroute that warrants reroute pay to show up? Just wondering if there is a "normal" timeframe before I call. The scheduler last week said to give it a week...it's been a week.

It should be there. I would call. If they put it on your time card, make sure it stays there after the month ends. And until you see it in your paycheck, you have to check it here and there. If they don't give it to you, email the info to Dalpa skeds, and they will look into it for you.
