I actually used to enjoy reading over there. Then they ran off anyone who didn't talk non-stop crap about the TA or ALPA. They don't want debate, they want capitulation. They want you to echo their narrative and pat them on the back and say you're right! Try saying anything good about the TA and see what happens. I couldn't stand CC's (the person) posts before, now I just realize he's no different than most of regulars over there, just a different viewpoint. Like others have said, it's basically an echo chamber over there. This could pass 95/5 with 100% voting and they would still insist the reps weren't representing the majority.

Many thanks, hey kids look Parlament, Big Ben!!
I had this issue once before. I listed round trip to LHR and then after arriving I booked MAN-JFK and cancelled the LHR-JFK. If I were to guess I think the brits want to make sure you have a round trip planned. They don't like squatters.

That never works when I try to fly to Atlanta.

One-way international tickets also carry a risk for the airline: if the passenger were denied entry at immigration for some reason, the airline is responsible for taking them back to their point of origin, whether or not said passenger can pay.

Unlikely that you would read anything that would challenge your notions. Those guys are just DPA supporters is what I heard.

I just flew to LHR on a "one way" reservation on Deltanet. No problems at all.

Oh, I read the FB TA Group. It's true comedy.
