I think the implementation of those is delayed until next year. I want to say July or Aug.

Thanks for the reminder about the productivity we gave up by going to 30 day months in July and August.

Yeah, that one just keeps on giving.

Another item that management probably p!ssed themselves laughing about because they couldn't believe we gave it away.

BS flamebait post. COMPLETELY untrue.

DL is #1 across the Atlantic and new destinations begin in May 2017.

.

I'm not so sure about your statement. Maybe with the JV partners, but I don't believe this is true for DL-operated flights. I actually tried to find the stats and couldn't find them.

The below listed stats are seat miles not flights.
Airline 2005 2015 ∆
Delta Air Lines 2.79 5.33 91%
British Airways 4.93 4.85 -2%
United Airlines 2.37 4.78 102%
Lufthansa 2.99 3.80 27%
American Airlines 2.87 2.84 -1%
Air Canada 1.78 2.76 55%

Virgin Atlantic Airwa. 1.84 2.38 29%
US Airways 1.13 1.75 55%
KLM 1.12 1.45 29%

Here are the total ASM's offered by the US airlines for 2015 from a different source. 2016 data is not out yet.We know from the scope reports that we have more flights then AF and KLM combined.

DL 49,109,500,000
AA 37,606,300,000
UA 47,389,000,000

I always thought more credit for vacation days, and more days as a high priority was an easy kill, but apparently a lot of folks disagree with that.

Not really. Our vacation sucks and needs further improvement. Any amount of "pay no credit" is a non starter. It has to be both pay and credit. At the very least for the LCW, and at very worst only the additional amount over 3:45 can maybe be opted out of, although I'd be against that as well.

Even the fly till you drop to pay for their toys crowd isn't going to be harmed by having more time off for the same pay in an given month. Well I guess some of them are so addicted to surfing open time 24/7 that they might get increased stress levels by having an extra day or two a month not working with no decrease in pay from the current system, but :roll eyes:

We could perhaps let them pick up Q trips as P/D or APD from the person dropping them that blocks those days from further pick up. That way some could drop flying they otherwise couldn't get rid of and the guys who "need" the money can do so.

But selling back (or worse, outright ignoring) vacation time off is an asinine concept. Even at top tier 5 weeks, there is more than enough opportunity to fly one's but off.
