Now it is making sense. Yes, it was a move to C or D level. And my old man (a grunt) told me about those hammer & nail cockpit trainers as he dragged me around the jetbase. I have lost track of the differences between the DC-6 & -7...probably could have passed that exam when I was 12--the things I picked up on fetching wrenches and beers--but not now. What were they?

Lesee, the DC6 had 4 3 bladed props and the DC7 had 3 4 bladed... nope, thats not right.....

Hi All,
Looking at the possibility of taking a cruise this Spring Break. Do any of you veteran cruisers use a specific agent, or just go through Dargal/Perx?

Do they also book excursions separate from the boat? I hear if you book through the boat they get ya!

Thanks for help!

Take a look at this company:

Facruise | Interline Experts

Used them to book an Alaska cruise last summer.

A question for the contract gurus out there- I'm a lineholder on what was originally a 2 day GS that was extended into a 3rd day (not a GS w conflict). I also have a rotation which would have signed in early AM on what will now be the third day of the GS. Pretty sure I'm clear on the basics- double pay no credit for the 3 day GS, and single pay and credit for the missed rotation. What I'm not entirely clear on is whether I will be due reroute pay for the GS extension. The co could definitely get us home on the original day 2. The gist is- is RR pay additive with GS or do you just get the GS pay?

I am not an expert but I would say at least RR pay and maybe assignment pay.

Had that same scenario happen twice last spring on the 717. Got green slip pay + reroute pay + single pay for the conflicted trip. (Basically 4x pay for that day) Not a bad way to earn a living.

When in doubt email dalpa scheduling. I had the guy in charge of it on the jump seat last week and he was incredibly knowledgeable and it sounded like he recouped a lot of money for pilots due to crew scheduling errors. My captain called him 3 times in the next 2 days and he was still answering his phone!

Does anyone know how to undo a vacation day request from the bank? I took a few out but have decided against using the them. I was told that you can undo this while still in the same month but I can't seem to figure out how via iCrew.

I think you just put which option you wanted (3 or 4) on the left side, then 0 under the VAC DAYS then OK. If that doesn't work, I'd just call the vacation people, the number is in the bid package. They are very helpful.

Unfortunately that didn't work. Thank you though.

Edit: I figured it out. You delete both the option number (3 or 4) as well as the number of days that were requested. Then click ok. I was putting both as a 0 when I simply need to delete the number.
