Going to Mecca for my 1st CQ from the west coast. It's 3 days... So I assume travel day one, Doubletree for 2 nights, and both SIM's.

My SIM ends around 8:30 PM, though, and only flight back to SEA is 9:10 PM.

Is there a quick debrief required? Can I call training and see if I can get an earlier SIM--or can I just stay another night in ATL if needed?

Thanks.

Your iCrew schedule for the month of training will show the hotel and dates for them at the bottom of your schedule. If it's a C period, it technically ends at 18:59 with a half hour debrief (which shouldn't take that long), so that should be enough time to get you to the airport and get on the plane.

If you mention it to the sim instructor, I'm sure he'll do what he can to get your out of there quickly.

Sounds like you've got a C period... day 2 as long as it goes well is typically over before 1900. I live local and would usually give my students a ride to the airport if they needed one.

Tom Brady is looking a little deflated tonight. :D

Rise up!

Glad I'm not flying that charter back to Atlanta.

No doubt, Kraft's got a Gulfstream, more fun.

Reserve Question

So I was on a 30hr scheduled rest that expired at 0003 today. I was scheduled for short call starting this afternoon. So is it incumbent upon me to check my schedule on rest? Or am I expected to check it once I go on long call? I thought that they should have called me but I'm back on rest before short call.
