Ok, then what does a “full pipeline” actually mean?

It means that prior bids have filled all the available capacity. It does not mean anyone is delayed.

The latest AE said that the 757 training program was experiencing significant delays. Anyone know how long those delays are running right now?

I read that somewhere too, I got awarded 7ER in Feb AE and going to training in June now FWIW.

It's out.

777 DTW starting to close, displacements on M88 in ATL. MSP 330 coming late this year or early next year. First CSeries base: NYC
FO openings in various places.

I meant the next one after this... sorry thought the green smiley meant TIC.

So will there be added 777 positions elsewhere?

Not according to the AE.

Of course there was no mention of "backfilling" on the AE so, who knows?

777 fleet is going into a mod line for all new interiors. It will be at least a year maybe longer before they need the bodies back.

Not sure if anybody else mentioned it yet, but they also squashed the potential MSP 717 base and plan to bring all the LAX jets back east sometime in the next couple years. My guess is this indicates that the 717 will be next on the chopping block, why open an MSP base if the long-term plan is to shutter the type?

If they are moving the time there is no real extra cost in opening a cartegory in a existing base. The answer would be opening the base does not reduce credit.

I picked that up...We're all waiting on A movement (up, not down!)
And yes, I'm aware that all AEs aren't rosy, but have you seen the Q1 results? And we're still hiring around 1000 per year, right?:D
