Another brilliant design feature by Boeing, but in their defense rolling suitcases did not exist when the 737 was designed in the late 1950s or early 1960s

Be aware some agents in ATL are requiring crew to check the 26” bags non reving and deadheading.

And the flight the crew is working at the other end will be delayed.

One thing to add. One 26” fits nicely on the bottom. You can actually stack another 26” on top but this will block the jumpseat from falling into place. A 22” on top does not cause this issue.

Im curious what travel needs on a 737 trip would require the large international bag?

With the pub kits gone there is plenty of room for a generous piggyback bag for a 22" bag.

I ditched my crew bags wen i came bak to dom 737.hav used a 4 wheel 22" hard side bag and piggyback bag.

Save you back and shoulders. And make the van drivers happy while ur at it.

The weight difference between the 26” and 24” is negligible.

And we have 5-day trips.

And now the side pockets are unusable.

just yellow tag it, take it down yourself, and you shouldn't be significantly delayed. i would definitely not allow them to check a deadhead bag through anywhere while in the middle of a rotation.

I thought that was no longer a option unless a DH crewmember in uniform.
