Hired by Delta 3 years later. Between that and Delta, I did get 3 type ratings and pass my ATP in conjunction with my 737 type.

Everyone screws up. Some worse than others. Learn from it and learn how to explain how you learned from it. And, if at all possible, teach others to make new, different bonehead mistakes and not repeat yours.

What sadist examiner did you have making you do a dme arc on a checkride?!

It was probably a long time ago and it was the norm. We actually used to fly them at the airline. The DME arcing approach into Helena at night in a snowstorm was always interesting and generally hand flown.

How do you change nonrev travel priority after check-in? I tried rechecking, but the travel priority screen doesn’t pop up. Thx.

Ask the gate agent to change it for you, or cancel the reservation, list again and recheck-in.

I think you have to cancel your entire reservation, and start new. Just be aware though that “A standby code may not be changed after travel or within the required check-in time limits before scheduled departure.” So 30 minutes domestic, 60 minutes international.

Most people have a failure here or there..seems like it gives you something to put a positive spin on during the interview. Glad you still got to Delta :D
