Apparently we've been having trouble with your TPS reports.

Just out of curiosity, what is your hire date to be at 76%

Even our DC-9osaurs have digital pressurization. Although I think we have 1 DC9-30 left in the desert that has the old analog still, but it won't be coming back.
Automatic but NOT digital pressurization like the 9 has.....the outflow control wheel is still present.

I believe he is a '07 hire and his comment of 76%-ish was IN Category.....his company seniority is probably around 90%.....
Just my guess....

Talk to a SWA crew about this scenario. It's commonly thought that a small militant group did this much to the detriment of the overall flight attendant group over there. Purportedly they're not above using some very dirty tricks to destroy individual reputations to get what they want, either.

They're known tongue in cheek as the "XXX Mafia". Not, as they say, "that there's anything wrong with that." Except when there is; in which case, one had best not complain.

I've been perusing the AE bid this morning and trying to figure out where I will land. Some interesting things stand out. There are 60 something DC 9 Bs being displaced from MSP and DTW. Assuming only MDs, those guys all have numbers in the 12000s. Where are they going to go? There are more vacancies than surpluses so they have jobs. It looks like they will be MDd to a pay raise. Or do the top 60 something AE somewhere to a better position?

The 60 744 Bs all have numbers in the 8000s. Some can be bottom 9 As but I doubt many will take that option. They all get pay cuts as the 777 is fenced. All who are looking at the NYC 765 category, look out for these guys.

It will be interesting to see which becomes the most junior category, DTW 9 or NYC 88. That is where the bottom of both sides resides. I think it all hinges on what the senior ATL people do. If they chase dollars and captain seats the results will be vastly different than if they stay at home and displace of the bottom.

ps. Do the DC 9 Bs displaced to a higher paying category get pay "protected" at the lower level?

They haven't filed for a vote yet. That's the sticking point - I believe the AFA had filed, but it hadn't been acted upon. Then the whole thing with the voting rules came out, and the AFA (and the IAM I think) withdrew their request for a vote.

Ummmmm, I could be wrong but I believe that DC9 & MD88 pay the same. It's likely that many DC9 FO's could end up in the M88 so their pay will remain the SAME.
