Not sure they will cancel the bid, but I am willing to be that a lot of ppl do not convert or once converted will be reinstated on the next bid. Lots of interesting things are in the works.......

Why displace, just to reinstate? I don't get it.

I am getting your hopes up.

I still think we will see something that will make a lot of us smile rather shortly. I also think that we will see a few new jets (new to us) that have not been announced yet. Lots on the stove top, and most of it looks like it is going to be served.

Make sure those boys you know keep their apps updated.

Thanks for the intel ACL. It's always appreciated. And I'm super glad it's positive intel. Sounds like some exciting stuff, & I really hope the trigger is pulled on all of it. :)

IDK, but does much that they do seem to make any sense?

Bar, hopefully with the increase in 737 flying you get to stay right where you are at.

How does this work if one is displaced out of base, then reinstated? What if that base goes senior?

sailingfun,

Thanks for the info. I have tried to read the contract, but with the tidal wave of info coming at the DAL-N guys it's nice to get some solid info from DAL-S guys who know for certain. Your info is appreciated.

Johnso29<------------A DAL-N guy feeling a little overwhelmed by all this info. :o:o

dunno, i dont have the old contract available and i'll be honest, I'm going on to 3rd year pay so i havent payed much attention to 9th year pay.

again, its all pretty pointless to argue now though

True - we are all Delta now. And every time I hear about USAIR and America West, I think we ALL did OK. Yes, some guys on both sides sort of took one for the team, but you know what - it could have been much, much worse for all of us.

Scoop :)

Yep, from CP types in Atlanta, no details beyond possible amendments.
