So which hotel is the new hotel?

I'm trying to figure out how much they pay us when we go to training. The way I read it, we get paid the ALV if we are in school for an entire month and if it is a partial month they pro-rate the ALV for days we are in training then pay us for what we fly the other days. Also looks like we get paid our old rate until they convert us to the new category. Any of you guys who have been through a few schools have any more info...this is my first trip back other than CQ.

Looks like they pay 3:15 per day. And you get paid at the old rate until they actually convert you. The good news there is if you're reassigned to ATL, you'll get per diem until they convert you. The flip side is also unfortunately true.

But I would urge caution to those considering it. I had the misfortune to be in an exit door video. Everyone in perpetuity will see it, and it's not the kind of thing you live down easily. Participation may lead to an unfortunate "callsign".
