The quid for Quito was bringing the -700 rate up to the -800 rate; about a $15/hr raise for A and $10 for B. With the expectation of many more -700s in the future, I view this as a good deal for us.

Spot on. That was very much a mutually beneficial agreement.

I agree on all counts. Great jet and concur on the pay rates being equalized. Did you see all of the SNA flying in the bid packet for Feb? Looks like we have as many out of the OC as we do outta LA.

Hey, what's the deal on the seat available numbers for NWA flights on Travelnet? Looks to me like they aren't accurate. I'm sure I got an e-mail or two explaining how we may figure out the loads on those flights, but I probably didn't read it. Is there any way we can get accurate loads on those flights?

You can get very accurate numbers by choosing NW on the left side drop down on carrier. Their non-rev stuff is much better than ours. You can list and activate on-line and they'll assign seats a whole lot earlier than we do.

If you do the search using DL as the carrier, you'll get either 0, 4, or 7 seats with an explanation down below but using NW it'll get gnat's butt close.

Just had to call time out to brag on my Hawkeyes. We don't get to brag that often, so I have to take advantage. One can only wonder what could have transpired with a healthy QB for the last 3 regular games.

But we'll take it.

Carry on.

Your guys played great! I had hope going into the 4th quarter but that run into the end zone by Dwyer was about to stop the heart.

The Jackets didn't win but they had a great season and I'm proud to be an Alumni!

Thanks. That was so easy I feel stupid for even asking. Don't commute and never non-rev anywhere so I'm not up to speed on that stuff.

Glad to help. The joys of commuting.

Another great thing about the Northwest side with standby travel is if the loads are decent, you can pick your seat yourself and print out your actual boarding pass when you check in at the kiosk. I haven't ever been able to do that on a Delta flight.

Hopefully it carries over. Therefore I doubt it will.

That's the way I saw it too.

Another *great* feature of the NWA.com site is with a standby listing, you can (a) activate your listing from home or your smartphone and (b) actually see the standby list, where you are on it, how many seats are still available and your seat # when you are cleared, from your smartphone with only a few clicks.
