Delta is the largest airline in the United States, carrying the most passengers for the most revenue. But who flies to the most airports in the United States?

The answer is Skywest Airlines

I think you're right about the business travelers but the avg traveler doesnt travel enough to care. They're just looking at ticket prices, you know the type, the ones that shut their brains off as soon as they walk into the airport

With that said we need to improve the reliability, product and overall experience to get those higher ticket prices from the business traveler.

The customer experience begins when he or she steps out of the cab in the horseshoe and ends when he or she climbs back into one at the end of the trip.

The Delta piece of that experience includes check-in, terminal facilities, gate areas, whether the cart donkeys smile at them, etc.

Pretty much any licensed airline is going to fly the passengers safely and at a competitive price. That positive customer experience is what brings people back to one or the other.

Are you sure? The last DOT statistics I saw had Southwest as #1 ... even when you added Delta and Northwest together.

Am I missing something?

KC-10,

They are talking about the number of airports serviced - not the passenger count.

Airnet?

I know they fly to 100+ cities and have like 80 piston twins and lears so I'd think they cover all the large and small airports with multiple hops... am I right?
