Slow - we don't know anything until you tell us. So spill the beans. We will happily consume truth, metaphors, "connecting the dots", fairy tales or complete horse crap as long as it comes with the slightest hint of legitimacy.

Whew .. thanks. Now to take the wife to lunch and tell her I'm selling the house and we need to put one kid up for adoption.

That channel is probably on pay-per-view

I know how thin-skinned you DALPA officials are about comments like that, but if there is any difference between DALPA and DAL, it is difficult to see. History will show whether that tactic was wise or not, but there is very little difference...except one: Nobody at DAL wants to be part of DALPA.

A little disheartening to say the least...all these strawmen and righteous indignation being built up.:(

Slow,

My read on his comment is that he is talking IF, as in "if in the future."

Sheesh...

1. There is no JAL deal. If there were, there would have to be SEC disclosures.
2. There is a US government Open Skies deal that could be very bad for DAL.
3. Somebody moved our cheese. Adapt to reality.

Slow,

Where in the heck did you get any of this out of my post?! I have NEVER said anything of the sort.

Just posted an article on another thread, the point being, Japan does not have a whole lot of pilots and is sending 19 year olds off to ab initio course in the United States to get training.

If I ran the DHS. I'd be selectively revoking VISA's until the Japanese came around to seeing the value of American workers. Especially with Toyota's canning of the NUMI operation with statements like "each American worker is half a Japanese worker." Enjoy your Toyota's guys.

Heyas Carl,

I think Slow would be better off handling the coming sh!t storm regarding certain medical requirements.

There are already forces swirling around this issue which will rapidly get out of control of Slow, as seen here:
