If DFW EVER happens it will be super senior. It will prove that commuting stinks.

Imagine how senior it would be even if it was just a DC9 and M88 base!!:D

i know it would go super senior but would help with the commute outta here!!! and make the commute even worse knowing im commuting out of a base!! don't know how people commute out of a base to another!!

just my 2 cents I know there are many reasons to commute out of a base i get it!! don't start that business!!

aa jumpseat????

what is the priority of j/s on aa?? we are d6(or something like that) F/A's are d7(or something). should we get on before the F/A's even if they check in before we do??

I thought that was how we signed the j/s seat agreement with AA

anyone??

Crazy;
As I understand it, we get the first seat then it alternates Pilot, FA until all of the coach seats are filled. They will leave with FC seats open.

Now the agreement may be different that that, but I can tell you that every time I have talked to a AA gate agent that is what they tell me they do if there is going to be an issue with bodies and seats.

Do not forget to meal list. In ATL they will not deal with you if you do not have a reservation. (Again my experience)

i know about meal listing but thanks for the heads up... they get real pi$$ed when u don't list... and the listing window is not 24hrs anymore its like 8am to like 8pm or something like that...

what do u mean by alternating?? buddy of mine just missed flight cause 5 fa's checked in before him.. he was told computer looks at us as the same.
I thought a few weeks ago the guy I was flying with asked and was told we went before fa's no matter what check in time was

Well if that is the case then it has changed again. I always get there early.

I'm in a quandary as to what to do. Do I hang onto the bottom of the ER in the hopes of advancing? Do I go for the 73n here as a line holder? Or do I go for the near bottom of the 88 in The ATL to make the commute easier?
