reinstated to the category from which he was displaced if:
a. a vacancy is posted in such category and the earliest conversion date stated in the
posting is within the 180 day period following the conversion date of his MD,
b. his standing bid indicates a request for such reinstatement, and
c. such vacancy has not been filled by reinstatement of a pilot senior to him who was
also awarded an MD from such category

Also, remember even if there are no slots listed on the AE, if guys bid out to another A/C you can get reinstated on the backfill - that's probably where most of the reinstatements will come from.

73N, exactly. So if you hate your lot in life, hate where you are and cannot wait to be junior again, put in your reinstatement bid.

As DBMS states, make sure you check your box for reinstatement.

Can we get the puke emoticon added to APC? A puke salute is needed at this time.

Damn man...have a positive outlook for once. The company announced hiring, the AE has hundreds of vacancies, lots of widebody slots and here you are *****ing about it. The CVG guys/gals will do fine....just like I was fine after getting booted of the whale in ANC following the merger. The CVG guys/gals have a lot more choice than just MD88 in MSP.

I don't understand why there aren't any vacancies on the 320. We are super understaffed.

johnso29 05-07-2010 09:06 AM

AE is now posted on Deltanet.

DeltaA320 05-07-2010 09:11 AM

I agree with johnso.....where's the 320 vacancies?

The fall ones are always bigger. That is not rocket science. We always to the Lion's Share of our training in what our leadership refers to as the "Shoulder Months."

Just ribbing you a little. It wasn't meant to be taken in a bad way and I appreciate you always helping us to look forward to more good news. I just love how none of us on this site are ever satisified with current news. Now that this bid is out, all of us are counting the seconds to when it closes, then when the results come out, then the next bid, etc. I guess I know what it feels like to be a crack addict always looking forward to that next hit.

Who was the wise guy in Crew Resources that loaded SEA 320 into the system? I wonder how many laughs they are getting on faking us out on that one.

They are there - they are just calling them MSP 88 vacancies instead. Connecting the dots, it looks like a slight reduction in 320 flying is in the works. Not enough to trigger surpluses but enough to get staffing back in line.
