You will notice that there are more vacancies than surpluses in this bid which will result in the filling of those positions with pilots returning from furlough bypass and new hires. Also, as pilots bid out of the 330 and 73N Captain positions as well as the 73N and 320 First Officer positions, we may not be backfilling some of those positions.

More DC9 drivers in MSP and DTW getting chopped. Didn't touch MEM though. That seems good for the MEM folks....at least for those that want to stay.

This bid sucks as far as advancement goes! there is no re-instatements for ATL that were hinted at by the CPO. Then there is the huge dark cloud of the CVG ER base closing.

And a loss of 26 positions in the SLC base. They continue to say they won't close the 73N base here, but it gets smaller every bid.

What class did they say I would be in? Ive got a Fever - and the only thing that is going to cure it, is the DC 9:D

What the CPO has stated is still true. They stated that anyone that was converted after May will reinstate. If you read the JPWA it states that you are those rights for six months after conversion. So they could have been hinting at the fall bid as well. You will still have those rights for the fall bid as well.

Just sayin....

Bid has been out less than 15 minutes and we already have ACL talking about the next one. :)
