Well yes, Johnso, do not let them fool you. It will be straight pay, just not above guarantee, they are just trying to save the PS DH.

That's what I thought. If I want to fly then I might as well YS it.
The only reason I'd do that is to avoid SC.

Thanks ACL.:)

Isn't that what SC guys are for? I am on X days. The caller ID also was a 800 number otherwise I would not have answered. Kinda sneaky if you ask me.

I've had that type of call in the past, they (nwa) called my home number that was listed as an 'emergency contact only'. I answered, they said 'crew sched', I responded 'hello, hello, hello, anyone???', then click. Two-way contact was never established according to the tape...never had a problem.

SIDE QUESTION:

What was our(FNWA) daily per-diem rate last year? DC9 domestic

I tell them that I've been drinking and riding around on my ski doo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfPig5PqQzI

Cogf16,

I understand what you're saying. I just want to remind you that scope is no longer related to just narrowbody domestic flying. In this day of codeshares & joint ventures our WB scope is threatened as well.

SCOPE effects EVERY pilot in our pilot group. Please don't forget that.

Agreed. Recent history has shown much more erosion in the narrowbody domestic flying though. I am a relatively senior fdal captain that wants NO MORE erosion of any scope and will not trade anything for scope. However, scope losses on the lower end probably won't affect us widebody captains and that fact could sway senior pilots if contract "options" are presented to the pilot group. Again, I will support no erosion of scope to better my "senior" life! I'm afraid that others might.

Cute but not remotely possible. Reality check...
