Still love to see you guys get them?

We're one airline now and in case you haven't noticed, more widebodies benefit all Delta pilots.

Sounds good on paper.

We're not one airline until the DAL N FA's say we are. LOL

So if you can't run the disc and show up to training without them being completed what happens? I assume one will be sent home until completion without pay. In this case a grievance would need to be filed to get everything rectified..... Guess I'll call my reps tomorrow :(

If you have an Intel based mac:

$49 for Parallels 5
MacUpdate Promo Spring Bundle 2010 - 10 Great Apps for $49.99
Parallels runs at the same time as your mac, pretty slick, no need to reboot.

The CD can be copied to your HD and you can mount the disk image from Parallels as your CD drive.

(obviously you'll need to procure some version of windows)

This is by far the best solution to run the CD at your own pace where you want.

Cheers
George

They have looked at allowing people to download the training. I thought it was a good idea. I thought giving out flash drives or downloading it to flash drives would be a great idea. Reusable, and because of that, we get rid of the waste.

I can see who calls the shots at your house! :D
I also married a FA, she's retired. :)

Well, if we, as a group, bend over and reach in our own wallets everytime the company should be doing something on their own dime, then you're probably right.

If we want to pull up our big boy shorts and say "um, no", then you'd be surprised what you can accomplish.

Lessee, according to my tab:

1) Complaints about DALs mess of an crew activity record in iCrew , which replaced NWA's outstanding monthly Crew Activity statement was met with:

Whatcha' complainin' for? Just pay Flightline to do it for you!

2) Complaints about the junior manning machine calling you multiple times at ungodly hours in the morning was met with:

Whatcha' complainin' for? Just pay the phone company for signal ring or another line!

3) Complaints that DALs software would only work on a PC was met with:

Whatcha' complainin' for? Just pay Microsoft for a copy of Windows XP! Don't have a Intel Mac? Buy a new one!

I'm starting to sense a trend here....all this paying people for stuff the company should be doing as a cost of doing business is starting to cut into my "pay rate increase"....

To all who responded to my DTW 777 position increase. I of course understand that any and all jets on the property equal jobs. I guess what I was really getting at and didn't say properly, is no additional 777's are on the way, the increase in DTW 777 time is just movement of time, not an increase in time. That's what Gus was trying to say. Ha So to be excited about more DTW 777 time in DAL N territory doesn't make sense. Just wondering is all. Example, if they moved the 744's to SEA, it wouldn't help me one bit. At least not for 4-9. See where I have drifted?

You are correct, but misdirected. My wife is a DAL S FA, not a DAL N FA. She has already been trained on ALL equipment and she wants the integration to be completed. Until DAL N FA's drop the grievance, we aren't going to be "one with the ball."

By the way, have you ever listened to "THE MAN SONG?" It's hilarious. Google it. The puppet one is funny too.

Damn your a smart guy Nuguy. I like your attitude. Count me in.

Nu;
You have a point. It adds up.

I would like to see extra data in DBMS or a new system. It would be nice to have landings done via acars, as well as many other things.

What I am seeing is steps towards some of that stuff. Everything starts with the first step. Lets make sure the steps turn in to miles.
