Agreed Waves. It is good to be reminded of that from time to time.

acl, there is an extension to the "No Furlough Clause." I will email my bud to get the details, but I figured everyone here was up on that. I think the extension was for 2 or 3 more years.

Alright Buzz! Maybe if you ask nicely you can have both landings. Help keep ya out of the school house for bounces! :p

This is from the most current PWA Waves. It was a 24 month no furlough clause from the integration. Dec 8, 2008 is when the SLI was awarded.

My somewhat hidden point with that story and the joke that followed, was basically that we are all cut from the same cloth, and fighting each other is counter productive. We know the enemy, and he is not us.

I read it and it was great! With your permission, I'll forward to a few buddies and maybe even post on my FB to bring them back to reality. :)

Waves,

Great story!

Give a pilot a bag of money and he'll complain that its too heavy to carry around!

Best story I heard was of a boy siting in his row boat fishing. He looked up and saw a Jet and said; man what I wouldn't give to be up there....

The captain in the Jet looks down at the row boat and says, man what I wouldn't give to be down there:)

Absolutely you can forward it. I'm glad we're on speaking terms again. LOL Did you ever read my rebuttals? I didn't see any comments on them. Sometimes communicating on these threads can sure lead one to a wrong conclusion. I love ya man! You can be my wingman anytime. :D LOL

Of course this is barring a junior seat becoming vacant or other such scenarios within that time period.

I thought that it started from when the merger was announced,
or am I thinking of the no furlough clause?

I don't think it means 36 months from SOC. I believe that it is 36 months from whenever you get bumped.
