Well let me put it this way, I already acknowledged the trip so if they call me anytime manana and change my sked.......I won't be much help. I'll just leave it at that.

So you have scheduling take the SC off? Can you request that?

I've never thought about this scenerio but I do often have PM SC's and I check and see a trip and acknowledge them prior to my SC beginning. I was under the assumption I was still on SC so if things changed I'd have to change my plans but thats just be assuming stuff because I don't want to look it up. :D

But, I have timed out before when I was on a 0930 SC, I acknowledged a trip at 0800 and the trip showed at 1500, later that night I timed out based off the 0930, not 1500.

If you acknowledge the trip outside of 12 hours,they are very likely to take the SC off. Gotta put on your sexy voice and make sure they keep it on.


Anytime you get a long heads up on a day you're on short call, make sure you still see the call time on your sched.

This is the one thing that I really like about mainline... sports fans. I seriously had the hardest time at my previous regional airline getting the guys to change the channel, in IAH, from the TBS movie of Saturday afternoon or the Lifetime rerun movie on Sunday afternoon when football was on. I'd never thought that so many dudes would want to watch old movie channels on football day!

All hail football, 4 months away. I will however admit to having no clue about whats going on in March Madness. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

90 minutes of running...back and forth, back and forth and whoo hoo! 1-0!

It reminds me of the Simpsons episode where professional soccer came to town, they marketed it so well the whole town showed up excited to see SOCCER!! but then two guys just kept kicking the ball to each other. The American announcer grew bored, the Spanish announcer got more and more excited with each pass but eventually the towns people got mad and then a fight broke out and then they rioted and nearly burned the whole town down. There, a soccer riot.

If I am a 767 guy getting displaced to the 73N, and I cannot hold a 767 anywhere in the system, but can hold a 7ER position, am I pay protected to the 767?
