I understand your math, I am just saying that the impact that it has to the company and staffing is most likely negligible (a great no cost item gain for us). It is great that now reserve pilots don't get hosed on their days off during months with recurrent.

ACL,

I just read the last LOA and was wondering what happens if you do not request a trip to reset your theater qual. The verbage I saw says "may request a trip". As domestic shrinks it looks like I will be forced into the International category.

I have no interest in ever flying an international trip again. I did not see that there was a requirement to maintain currency in the LOA. Did I miss something?

Thanks

Thanks,

I got a rental car back in December for $18. Not sure what they're going for recently, but I did the same math and concluded that a cab is a ripoff. I think the min "pickup" fare to/from the airport is $25 and goes up from there, even if you're only travelling a mile. To get downtown, I would guess a rental car is your best option.

It is my understanding (qualifier!) that if you do not fly in a theater in 12 calender months the next time you fly in that theater you will do it with a LCA.

Call your reps and ask. Maybe the effective date was April 1. I need to look, so call your reps.

Okay, help out a guy who is mentally challenged when it comes to abreviations. I just read most of LOA 21. What is a "MED" rotation?

I am going to point out something here.

On the C44 Hotline they stated in bullet point one that they demanded the seven day comment period prior to vote.

They also just told you that they were briefed on the companies desire for an agreement to European Charter Operations. You want communication, there it is. They are telling you the company is seeking a LOA. Great job guys. Delivering what your pilots are asking for!!!!!

that might mean more LCA's, which means a few more "higher paying" jobs available......Net positive for the pilots.

More bumps for FO's so more pay available.....Net positive for the pilots.

Better training and qualifications means a SAFER pilot group....Net positive for the pilots.

Overall the last couple LOA's are all great for the pilots of Delta....Let's keep that momentum!
