I was hired on to the ER and plan on being placed in the MD88. But in 5 to 10 years I want to have a chance at getting back to international.

The -88 goes international! West of the Mississippi river is international isn't it? ;)

Your reading of that clause is incorrect. All the 777 airframes on order now will go to the Delta pilots. These are known orders. There were also delivery positions the arbitrators considered firm beyond the next 8 airframes. Those will also go to original DAL pilots. If the 787's are cancelled and additional 777's are picked up to replace them they will go to former NWA pilots. That is how it should be. The actual replacement aircraft however could be additional A330 or 767ER's. Overall I viewed the fences as favoring the DAL pilots not the NWA pilots. Going forward Delta 777 fleet is expected to expand to 28 to 36 airframes in the next 5 years. All that expansion goes to the Delta side. NWA is going to lose the 747-200's with no replacements and some 400's will probably be retired also. They will be replaced and the NWA pilots will fly those replacement aircraft as the rightly should.

if that happens then most of the movement will come from the 76 which will then be backfilled by most of the senior guys from the old NWA list.

If we are planning to expand the 777 by 28 to 34 is delta counting 787 orders being changed to 777 in that count.

That makes no sense. If the 787s were to go away, and the DAL 777 orders are to be an additional 28 to 36 airframes over the next 5 years, and, according to you, they would go to the DAL side, what exactly would those replacements for the 787s be? And... since you seem to think the fences favor the DAL side, and as you say there will be a departure of the 747-200s with no replacements, where do you think those 747-200 pilots will go? Since there is no fence around the 767ER, or the 767-400... wanna start a pool? So please explain to me how this benefits the DAL pilots. IF.. as you say.. those 747-200s will be replaced, how will "replacement" be defined, and what airframe will they be? This is a very slippery slope. See ya around the lounge..

If it's anything like the way they put out the reserve lines in DBMS, then Im going with Monday night at 11:59 (Local base time, Atlanta Intergalatic Worldport).

I got the email at 11:42pm EST. Anyone got that beat? Cough up your equity, gentlemen. And because youre airline pilots, no checks accepted.:D
