Well cut one out for me. We'll need to see all the possible get to work routes.

The NWA Dispatchers and Delta Flight Superintendants have agreed to a contract starting Jan 1 '09. Thats 2 groups that are done.

Yeah no doubt. The nice thing about this route map is that it REALLY shows what DAL will be flying... NOT what the codeshare partners are. I got a copy of the NWA magazine, and I couldn't tell what routes were flown by NWA. (Not throwing stones... just sayin') This is much mure informative. Like you say, we need a route map of all the connection carrier routes so we know how to get to work :(

Is Delta bidding or a part of Alitalia's sale of two 767-300ERs?

I was really surprised to see how little of the west the combined DAL / NWA network map is. I thought NWA was heavy out in the west? It looks like if it wasn't for SLC, there wouldn't be much of a western presence at all. Thanks god we have the Alaska code share. Otherwise, we don't have much moving up and down the west coast.

So, begs the question, how much does it cost to train Delta pilots to fly at ASA?

Denny Crane 01-01-2009 07:14 PM

Forgive my ignorance, but isn't ASA owned by Skywest? Wouldn't any flow thru with ASA also have to include Skywest?

guys... this dude isn't an ASA pilot (perhaps a junior mesaba guy or not even a pilot at all), so just disregard anything he says. he's been going wild on the regional board with his nonsense.

carry on. (nice map btw.)

What you are referring to is this. In the JPWA it states that any one that signs up to be a DCI carrier needs to give preferential hiring to DAL guys. In turn there is some verbiage that DAL will give some sort of preference to DCI carrier pilots. ( It is all quite vague for a reason)

Since it would be an initial at ASA, it would cost as much as it does not hire a 200 hr wonder from a flight farm. Even people like me with 6K+ hrs in the CL-65 series, with instructor time, would need a complete initial. We have left the ticket, and furthermore it has been over two years.
