I guess they do not want you guys to go non-landing current.

Wow, just looking at the February ER package. Tons of domestic pairings, I mean I don't know what the true quantity is just by whats in the package but I'm totally excited. I've wanted to do some domestic stuff just to get some cycles and landings in.

Greeaat:rolleyes: There was a reason I bid domestic. Well, several actually, but now I get even less trips to bid because the ER guys are taking them? ;)

They get some of the good ones too. I like the SEA-NYC-SEA four day. When they get a lot of domestic, that one always seems to go to them!

Why is that an Atlanta trip? It seems kinda silly to pay for Hotels in NYC for ATL crews when we have a bunch of 75/76 guys in NY.

Its because ER guys need flights with meals. If someone isn't serving a meal 10 minutes prior to the end of 1st break we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves.

I know! In the DC-9 we always had to do that math stuff. It was horrible.;);)

Just a quick detour: What is PB/PR on schedule relating to GS flying? How can I put all those in a bank for future use? Is there any restrictions in putting all back in the bank? 30/7? I'll have more than 1 24 hr. layo in the last 7 days.

I understand GS pay is now 2x, how can i find out on my time card? And that's above guarantee, is that correct?

I didn't pay too much attention when they explain all that stuff to me last year. Thanks for any help!

You'd get a better answer if you email Parri or Heiko directly.

PB = Payback day. For every day off you flew on your GS you get one PB.

PR = Partial Reserve. You get 24 hours of PB for each day off you flew on a GS. Then they add 9 1/2 hours (I believe) to your block in time on your last flight and take all PB days and that's the end of your PR.

ie: You fly a two day GS and both days are on days off. You block in at 1000 on the last day. You get two PB days starting on the last day of the trip. Then add 9 1/2 hours to 1000 and you start reserve again at 1930 on the PR day.

As far as GS pay goes, I believe the 2x pay is only for line holders since you lose the days off. Since reserves are given the days off back we just get straight pay over guarantee.

rvr,

It sounds like you got a greenslip on reserve. PB is a payback day and PR is the day you transition from a payback day to back on reserve at some point during the day. Pay for a GS on reserve is single pay no credit above the reserve guarantee and you get your days off back. On your time card it says something like "Res GS/Assign Pay" and lists the hours. It's below your totals listed. Take a close look at all the lines and you will see it. The days off are added to the end of your off days or start about 9 hours after you block in.

To my knowledge there is no way to "bank" these days although you might call crew scheduling and ask.

Regular line GS is now at 2x's pay. Reserve GS is the same as it has been.

Denny
