Since we are talking about displacements, where are we short and where are we fat? Just trying to get my head around what the bid might look like and what my options will be, since I most certainly will be affected.
It is a waste of time. Crew Resources looks at possible domino effects when putting a bid like this out. It may be cut in dry, but seldom is.
My guess is NYC ER and 88 reductions. Maybe some ER reductions out of ATL as well. SLC and LAX are staffed correctly for their flying. IMHO |
Just got off of icrew. New AE out dated Jan 31 09 to Jan 01 10
Vacancies CA-48 FO-191 total-239 Surplus CA-126 FO-113 total-239 looks like it's time to dig in deep. :( |
yep. Lots of guys that are junior on the ER will probably get displaced as guys like me do not want to do the short course on the 88. That will be how I bid. Either way bye bye 767 domestic for me.
Of note it is a one year conversion, so they still have time to adjust it if they need to!
Also it looks like the shift of the LAX 767 base to an ER base is starting.
Where do you guys get this? I'm on icrew and I see vacancys, no surplus's and they don't add up to the numbers i'm seeing here?
never mind, found it
So LAX 767 will now be ER, are we also starting to see ATL 767 transition to ER 57 pilots at a time?
Surprised by the increase in 73 in NYC and reduction in ATL. Is the 73 going to be in NYC because of its coast-to-coast range and the A320 will go to ATL? |
