Personally, If I was on the bottom of any list right now, I would not be buying a house. (Depends on how far down the list you are)

Probably part of the reason management is fighting us on trip-rig implementation - that's equals another 3-400 short when combined with dropping to your ALV's NLT BP5. Doesn't explain why DALPA is fighting it - it's all pre-merger in-house prior to SOC so does not gain them anything......

About 80 from the bottom on the NYC ER B list. We can't cross the Mason Dixon line yet, so how would those Yankees being short keep us working?

Heyas F4H,

Word is now that the 757 displacements mentioned in the staffing letter might not happen, and that a shift in flying may absorb the excess 757 time.

Turns out that mama Delta figured out that they can save $$$ by using NWA crews for the flying since we're operating under the old trip hour credit (less credit, less staffing, etc, etc), along with some other "not yet BP5" items. I mean, theoretically, we're under one agreement, but the stagger in the implementation of the WHOLE contract on the NWA side has left a cost differential in the short term that will be taken advantage of by The New Revolution. I'm guessing that the new FA bases in ATL and SLC will be the opening shot in this.

With DALPA siding with the company on this, they are funding their own displacements.

Ahhh, irony...

There is one guy below me in category at LAX - so I'm good, right guys? Plug +1 should be safe from any displacements, I think.

Who's with me?

They should make sure they don't turn the working relationship they have with DL pilots into the one United has. DL pilots basically facilitated this merger gaggle with very, very little to show for it and a lot of downside possibilities. It won't take much to send guys over the edge after what was taken from us over the last 5 years.

Figured or planned all along? With us not even having BP1 defined, and ALV and possibly trip-rig not in place to BP5 that could be as late as SOC, we could forced , due to DALPA's maneuvering, to fly more hours for less credit for the next 12-18 months. An easy way for the Mother DAL to maintain lift and reduce costs.

Prophetic....bet that out of seniority furlough part of the award doesn't look so hot right now. Perhaps this might be an opportunity to get trip-rig fixed as well as an LOA to allow cross fleet displacements prior to SOC.

And to get that, I would venture to guess that management would want to get rid of the 76 seat scope trigger. In essence it will cost us a lot to do it.

What a surprise, they have us by our b@ll$. If they want to destroy all of good work that has been done for some short term gain, let em! It will cost them a lot in the long term

The problem is that no one ever accused management of being long term thinkers.

Ok. Lets just pretend we're oh, about 4 years down the road here. Any guesses as to how the Delta pilots will vote on the next contract? Im guessing and hoping that this group will vote the contract down, by a large vote.

Almost all pilots at this new Happy company will feel that they lost something because of the merger. As a result most pilots will want something to show for our sacrifice to help the company.

Mngt. is usually so far ahead of the pilot group it isn't funny. We chase our tails like puppies as they laugh at us. I don't think it matters if they hose one side or the other right now. Come our next contract, things will get ugly no matter how the co. treats us. Just my .02

ACL, I'm hearing the AE is on the chief pilots desk right now. Have you seen it?
