I was just looking at the PowerPoint for the investor's conference and saw that $100M is being spent on aircraft interiors and realigning the 757 cockpits. Does anyone know what that's about? Having received ATA and TWA 757s we didn't realign those and I'm not aware of anything radically different with the NWA birds? Any NWA guys care to guess?

Off the top of my head I'm think'en ACARS, Satphone and HF radios. I'm sure those are either different or in different places. But, as you said, not much else is probably that different. But, of course I've been wrong before:D

Little off the subject, but does anyone know when ALPA will display the new seniority calendar for each pilot online?
I'd like to have an idea of how long I'm gonna be on furlough for if the economy doesn't turn around in the next 12 months or so. |
If you get the boot it will be down to Compass for a type then to the right seat. It will take quite some time to be truly unemployed.

Oh yeah, they also have to be sure they take out the intercom. We can't have any of that on our airplanes.:D (Actually, do the NW birds have intercoms? I have no idea.) |
