What a surprise, they have us by our b@ll$. If they want to destroy all of good work that has been done for some short term gain, let em! It will cost them a lot in the long term

They can shut the door on any future cooperation from the pilot group very easily. The deep wounds of a few years ago are fresh for many. They should be thinking of rebuilding trust for both the FDL and FNW groups instead of opening new wounds with unneeded displacements, playing one side off another, or F ing with the groups for minor cost savings. The next MEC may not be so management friendly.

I certainly can't speak for the (former) NWA pilots, but Delta pilots have a history of very short memories.

They talk tough on forums, in pilot lounges, and in the cockpit but they vote in the privacy of their homes. Many are living somewhat beyond their means and can't handle the financial upheaval of a strike.

They have historically been a rubber stamp for the MEC. I think it will take leadership from the (former) NWA pilots to get significant contract improvements.

True about the short memories, but the MEC of a few years ago was a bit different in the hard ball category when it was needed.

Yup, those rubber stamping Delta guys...

Whodathunk they'd have a better contract than those tough trade unionists at other properties that went through bankruptcy?

What type of cheese would you like with that whine?

Are you kidding me? there are NWA guys crying over all the forums over they new bennies they suppose to get because of us, Delta pilto group, and are not getting.
What kind of trip and duty rigs did you have a month ago? give me a break. Hey, how about those mechanics, great leadership from your MEC backing them up. I guess that's what we can expect from your union, a kick in the nuts and FU.

That was the Narita breakfast rumor in Nov.

Plus, new 757 flying on the Jan schedule. Bankcock and Inchon from NRT (vs A330) but looks like Osaka to Saipan goes away in Feb.:(

Any rumors for the LAX base where we already have a 76ER base?
