We should argue that SWA needs to be allowed into EWR. LGA is full and they already have islip.

They want more LGA and would probably take EWR and DCA in a heartbeat.

Apologies for loitering on "Latest and Greatest" I'll go back to the UAL-CAL merger threads.:) |

"LaGuardia should not be the gateway for domestic flights into New York City," Ward told a Crain's New York Business breakfast forum. "It should fundamentally be torn down and rebuilt again." |

Sorry, I forgot the sarcasm feature. I really don't care what SWA wants. I just know that NYC is full, and if they want in they'll have to buy slots from someone selling. I hope CAL isn't selling.

Most of us don't care what the rules are, just make some rules and follow them. I'm considering taking the pay cut just to get out of this reserve system. ER reserve used to be ok, all international and nothing less than 3 day trips. Now it's heinous. It would be fine if one lives in base but to commute is painful.
Before Big Spiny Fruit guy and Really Nice Exotic Sports Car guy jump all over me, I know reserve shouldn't be commutable. Maybe not, but it shouldn't be a crap shoot. |

Just to be clear, I did not say it shouldn't be commutable, I said it wasn't designed to be commutable so you shouldn't be surprised that it isn't very commutable. Don't be hating.
