Ah, I go to ATL every year on a All-Inclusive DAL provided trip. I still don't like it.

You will probably like MSP better. The hotel van I saw dropping pilots off at the sim building had an ad for an Outback Steakhouse at the hotel.

If you're talking about the Clarion Airport in MSP - the Outback is lovely, but that hotel is one of the biggest POS hotels I've ever stayed at in my life. At my old company, I used to avoid the short MSP overnights like the plague because of that hotel. Not that the training hotel in ATL is any great shakes, but it's better than the place I think you're referring to!

The vans serve both hotels , so you can go back and forth or to the MoA, but both are walkable during the two weeks of Summer. Nu |

The training hotel in ATL is a dump. The Italian restaurant next door is great however.

It's a Comfort Inn. I think it's been that for at least 4 years. |

Ah, you should have been in MSP the past few days. High of -2, -30 wind chills, and it is snowing as I am writing this. Lovely.
But, yes, MSP is really a great place to live if you can handle about 20 days of FRIGID (high of 0 or less) cold a year. Doesn't bother me a bit. I am from Wisconsin, so I am used to it. It is the wife that might not leave the comfort of her bed. Those Texans are so picky about the weather. |
