Thats what all your regional brothers and sisters have been doing for years...at least since they wised up and hooked it to the brake :D. No idiots here.

And, apparently, no men of integrity either. :(

No integrity??

Doors are closed, & the now the crew is responsible for the people. Time to get paid. PERIOD.

If something happens & people get hurt or die, the FAA will come right after the crew.

Any way to find another pilot's phone number? I'm trying to plan my commute for Monday, and another guy has two of the jumpseats booked for the day. I need to get ahold of him to figure out what he's planning to do (and possibly b!tch a little that he's hogging all the jumpseats :D)

Anyone ever book on AF on travelnet? I am trying to go JFK to CDG tomorrow and it won't let me make the reservation. Of course I called reservations and they said they can't help NonRevs.

It is on iCrew where you look at personal information, if you can put in his employee number you can see his info.

Just go on Icrew and click on Personnel

That's all irrelevant, johnso. Company policy governs and sets the rules we live by. If you want to change it so that we get paid when the door is closed, then fine, put it in the contract. Until then, I'll stand by my comment.

We can all justify our actions when we want to, but the bottom line is, men of integrity don't intentionally cheat the company, or their fellow pilots. Call me a boy scout, that's OK. But you can't argue the facts.

I didn't think the system would allow you to double book jumpseats. Give that guy a piece of your mind! :)

Yes, I know that's in our contract but the OP you responded is a CPZ pilot. I'm certain they are paid when the brake is released, & not beacon on.

Perhaps you didn't know he is a CPZ pilot. If that's the case, then I understand your comment. I don't like the beacon starting pay, bur I agree with your statement.

This was a huge no-no at NWA. A call or e-mail to the Jumpseat Committee chairman would earn that guy a phone call. The JS chair also had computer privileges. He could, and did, delete duplicate jumpseat requests and had the ability to block repeat offenders from booking the jumpseat at all!

If it were me, I would make that call and nip this in the bud.
