That's my point exactly. The same thing was told to me by the ATL CPO. But these two cases were FNWA bases. We should be on the same page, but sounds like there might be two different processes starting?

Of course, the press forgot to add:

"This was caused, in part, by the Obama Administration's decision to change the union certification and representation rules mid-stream, causing the entire process to reset to the beginning."

Typical slack reporting.

What is deal with these pre-interview screenings in FNWA bases?
I imagine there will be a certain number of guys who know the right people or have friends in high places that are going to get some of the first interviews. Just human nature. Unavoidable I suppose.
Haven't heard of any official "pre-interview screening" though. Some of these CPs might just be talking to people and figuring out who they will recommend. A letter from a chief pilot, while not a guarantee, would probably be pretty influential.

Really people should be seeking out Newk for an influential recommendation. Just like Vince Young did when Newk told him to waltz into the right corner endzone against the cheatin Trojans of USC to win the BCS championship. All Young needed was Newks wink to know to run it.

What? You don't think a note from an assistant greenskeeper with a slightly stained T-shirt would be helpful?

You must travel in some pretty lofty circles.

Default PBS / RESERVE LINE BIDDING and MLOA QUESTION

In a 30-31 day month, you get 13 X days. If I have two days of MLOA during that month, does that affect the number of X days? Will I still have 13 X days and 2 days MLOA?

I'm wondering if I should protect my MLOA with requested X days ...

Thanks.

No way. I'm sick of diving for Baby Ruth's.
