NewK told them who to pick. :D

They asked NewK but he had to decline. His reasoning was that if he was not on the line, A-14 would never happen.

In the end, it doesn't work to short-cut the requirements to get the plane out on time.

When I get gate agents (JFK) that are in a rush to get us out, I tell them On Time doesn't count if it's not done correctly. They usually have forgotten a fuel slip or the preface. Take the time to do it right...goes for catering too. :)

Tolerate, with a smile is more like it. :) Their inconvenience might last a few minutes, while we deal with it for hours. I'll take the time and any heat. :cool:

You have to start somewhere to protect the schedule integrity, its also the only and best way to show problems and who owns them.

I would think that most folks in the know would agree that BW is a big win for pilots in his new job. He wouldn't say this, but he almost singlehandedly prevented furloughs in the 2008 economic downturn. Everyone owes him a beer for that.
