Cut & Paste DAL for NWA and ATL for MSP...same thing. Mathematically equal.

Obviously, we have some bad ones on the north side but that article is a hatchet job

I'm wondering if this isn't a scam job by management to try and smear the AFA. The FAs aren't inter-flying yet. That means, they were either DAL or NWA. So the game he talks of, trying to guess which ones were fNWA, is a bunch of malarkey.

With that being said, there are definitely cultural differences in the two groups. All one needs to do is to complete a 4-hour productivity sit in the FLL FA crew room and you'll quickly understand. The fNFWA FAs have been treated badly ... very badly. The stories they tell are eye opening. However, most of the really bad stories I've heard were caused by mid-level management / union types. So that begs the question, why would do they want representation from the same people that were beating them up?

1. MSP flight attendants as a whole are the worst.
2. The longer the flight attendant has been with NWA, the worse they get.
3. The older the flight attendant, the worse they are.
4. The flight attendants that are married to pilots or dating pilots treat us the best.

5. What about the FA's who divorced a Captain? Especially if she is upset that he gave her an itch you can't scratch, he wouldn't leave his wife and it turns out he had been dating a male FO the whole time. I ain't makin that up. I promsie.
6. I'd say the longer anyone is in the back the worse, the crew I flew with was a DTW crew, kind of like flying with a NYC domestic crew. Younger, fun and nice.

You've got a good point. I don't know if management would be behind it but rather a writer needing a story and Lord knows we have enough know it alls in the back. If the Soloist was a good window into news reporting then you've got a guy looking for something to write about.

Reminds me of those authors who say "I really wanted to write a book but I didn't know what I wanted to write about." Well thats good, because there is nothing more I want to do than to read a book written by someone who didn't know what they wanted to write about.

Ya know, guys say that........but if I think about the times I drank too much and laughed too hard on a layover, it was MSP girls.

I've had much better experiences with MSP crews than DTW crews, the DTW crews just talk a better game:D

In general, the best I've flown with were SEA crews to HNL. But, the worst I've ever seen was a SEA crew last month between SEA and NRT.

I really think this whole union vote thing has got them on edge more than normal. Also, I really think some are taking it out on you south guys. I was on a 767 going to NRT (which base isn't important) and one of the women was really being nasty. On my break, I went into the door 2 galley just to say hi and the nasty lady's whole attitude change 180 when I told her that the capt and I were MSP guys. She was even joking around with us later in the immigration line.

Rome wasn't built in a day boys...........and I hope this union thing settles soon, I think we'll see things calm down after that.

Don't know if its a smear job (however, wouldn't doubt it), but the guy is a management "rah rah" a Tony Robbins for coporations. Maybe he is looking for a contract from DL. I've never heard any complaints about AFA...other than the standard ones like our union.
