I think that was actually a result of the SLI battle. A copyright issue I think. Apparently "Brontosaurus" was one of the terms the North guys tried to apply to the 747 only to find that the South guys already had it trademarked for the 777. :)

How is that for non-partisan jesting?

NewK: "Okay, review, whats the most important thing that the 88 has that the 9 doesn't?"
FTB: "ME!"
Newk: "Thats it I quit."

80,

I'm sorry. I thought the 88 had VNAV. You guys have to figure your crossing restrictions 3:1, too?

I forgot to mention, no printer either.

But, we do have those cool shades for the windows.

...And now for something completely different....

Before we break out into a full scale "My 747 is bigger than your 777" war, here's something to worry about on your next domestic layover in the hotel:

Reported by Adrian Sainz, Associated Press

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The pest control company Terminix released Tuesday a list of the 15 most bedbug-infested cities, based on an analysis of call volume reporting bedbug infestations and of confirmed bedbug cases reported by sales professionals in 350 of the company's service centers.

1. New York, NY
2. Philadelphia PA
3. Detroit MI
4. Cincinnati OH
5. Chicago IL
6. Denver CO
7. Columbus OH
8. Dayton OH
9. Washington DC
10. Los Angeles CA
11. Boston MA
12. Indianapolis IN
13. Louisville KY
14. Cleveland OH
15. Minneapolis MN

(my bolding on all the Delta bases)

So if you've got that 0430 wake-up tomorrow for the early van, wrap yourself up in those Hotel sheets....Sleep tight and don't the the BedBugs bite!

Thanks DelDah,

I just broke out in a serious scratching frenzy. Sort of akin to the old days trying to get some crew rest in some Navy BOQ somewhere where who knows what was crawling around inside the sheets. Yep, living the dream!

See in my day there's no way there would ever be any BedBugs in the Navy BOQ. Those little critters were far too afraid of catching Gonorrhea from rolling around in Navy sheets to ever take up roost in a Navy rack.

PS. For any Delta pilots with pulchritudinous, poised, and peppy sisters, girlfriends, neighbors, etc.....Delta officially opened the window for Flight Attendant hiring yesterday:

80? Do ftb and I really look that much alike? ;)

The 88 has VNAV, but it may or may not decide it's worth making the crossing restriction when you want it to. Sometimes the hamster falls off the wheel or simply trips and just starts spinning round and round with it.

It's thte least they could do to keep the airplane as manly as possible when they had to give up the ghost and put some glass in there.

"FINE. We'll put the glass in there, but it may or may not do your bidding. You'll find out. And by the way, it talks to you in a robotic female voice, too. Go ahead and try not to get turned on, we dare ya."

stabilizer motion.

Oh, I can remember back in the day where the BedBugs at Rota had Gonorrhea and were shameless about it. They also use to dance around and drink our Port when we weren't looking. Us Air Force guys, used to no less than 4-star digs, were horrified! :D

.....

Yes. But, for your TV show I think we should make sure you guys look as different as possible. It's all about ratings and chicks dig the contrast. 1 Blonde, 1 Brunette. Or, 1 fat, 1 skinny. 1 Carl, 1 Alpha.

Otherwise, people will confuse you like: Sailingfun and Slowplay. Nu Guy and New K, Pinneappleguy and Hawaii50, etc., and people won't remember who said what. :D

Or, New and Nu? No problem there (for me).;)
